A wildflower walk on the first day of summer led us to the aptly named Farewell-to-Spring.  These beauties can be found in sunny meadows like those at Bake Stewart Park.

Dorena Wildflower Census Update

There was a wonderful Wildflower Walk at Bake Stewart Park today.  It was a joint effort of the Willamette Watershed Council, the Army Corps of Engineers and the Native Plant Society. It was fun to search for wildflowers with many pairs of eyes, and one sharp observer spotted a Cat’s Ear Lily.

I have been hoping to see one of these for years now and today was my lucky day!
