    I attended Dorena Grade School from 1950 to 1954. Our family were friends with Raymond and Thelma Wicks who owned most of the little houses along the river, just south of the store. At that time, the school had 2 grades in each room and the cafeteria was also the 7th and 8th grades room. My mother, Helen Tryk, painted a mural in the little church by the store but I don’t know if it is still there. May have been painted over by now – over 55 years ago. So glad you are doing this project .
